Evening, another quickie post, been out of action for much of the past two days, had the most horrendous sinus headache that would not go, so spent a lot of time in bed, apart from yesterday afternoon when we took the children to the park, and I discovered that boys are never too old to paddle in the paddling pool :)
And then today we were back to rain and dark clouds again :(  Just as well, as I was feeling under par.  Today's card is another simple one, 10cm by 10cm, showcasing the lovely Attic Boutique DSP again:
and a Teeny Tiny Wishes sentiment to finish:
Have a good evening everyone and speak to you soon xxx

What a busy day today!  We had an early start this morning as the torch was due to pass near us just after 8am and what a spectacle it was :)  Lots of policemen on their motorbikes whooping up the crowd, three advertising trucks, and finally the torch bearer jogged past us. Even George agreed it was worth the early wake up call :)
Then it was a mad dash back to load up the car for the craft market, got there on time, thankfully, was worried that the torch relay would impact on traffic, but as it was so early in the morning, there weren't many cars on the road anyway.  The craft fair went quite well, its the first time I had tried this one and I liked it so will hopefully be doing it agan when its next on.

Today's card is a 10cm by 10cm one again and I used paper from Attic Boutique again.  I like this paper, it is bright and bold, two of my favourite words :)
I love the vintage feel and the colours and how they correspond with the in-colours.
This week I will be planning the cards for this month's club, on 21st, 23rd and 24th July, from 10am to 12pm.  More info is on my Stampers Club tab up there ^^^ or please feel free to message me to book your spot, I look forward to hearing from you :)

Today had so much promise, the sun was out when I got up this morning, George was up early for a change, then before we knew it, it clouded over and started raining again :(  I don't think we are going to have a summer this year, its July already and the last warm sunny day was back in March, far too long ago.  So, instead of going out, I am sat here, sorting out my stock and watching 90210 for a bit of lighthearted relief and sunshine tv :)
On to today's card, it is another smaller card, 10cm by 10cm and I used another design from the Attic Boutique dsp for it, and used Melon Mambo card and Scallop Dots Ribbon to pull out the pink of the roses on the dsp.
I hope you are all having a lovely day with beautiful weather, wherever you are and I'll speak to you soon.

Just me and the cats up this morning, Louis let me sleep in til 5am this morning and then woke me up.  Thankfully I managed to settle him down and got back to sleep again.  Its like having a baby a lot of the time having cats, well, Louis anyway.  He is certainly a high maintenance puddah :D  The sun has made an appearance this morning, had almost forgotten what it looked like with all the rain we've been having recently.
I chose this card to show you today because it looks summery and I am hoping to tempt the sun to stay out for a bit longer :)  The dsp is from the Twitterpated series which can be found in the Summer Mini.  I used Lucky Limeade for the colour to back the paper and used the corresponding ink pad for the stamped image:
The stamp is from the set, Vintage Vogue and I used the 'blossom' punch to punch it out and then inked the edges.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes:
Right, off I go, the boy has awoken and I have promised him a trip into town to get a few things.  Have a good day and speak to you soon :)

A busy day for sports today, it is the Wimbledon Final and the British Grand Prix, and for a while they were both on at the same time, so I was sat here with the tennis on the computer and the F1 on the television.  To cap it all off, the tennis is now on a rain delay, so here I am fitting in a quick blog post :)

Apologies for the quality of the photos, I have a new phone and am trying to get to grips with how it works at the moment, so please bear with me :)
For this card I used a DSP from the Summer Mini catalogue, Attic Boutique.  I am finding it hard to chose which of the new DSPs I like the most, they are all pretty fabuolous :)  I used a framelits die to frame the piece of dsp:
I finished off with a sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set:
Tennis is back on now, so off I go to watch the rest of the match, fingers crossed that Murray wins, but not holding out much hope :(  Speak to you all soon and enjoy the rest of your day :)

Morning all, thought I'd do an early blog this morning, lots to do today, shopping for Aunty Marg and some quilting that needs to be finished so I can get the binding done, really want the quilt finished for next weekend.  Also got some cushion covers to do too, so quite busy at the moment.  Doesn't stop me fitting in making one or two cards though :)
This card uses Everyday Enchantment DSP for the flower (punched using the new 'blossom' punch which can be found in the Summer Mini and corresponds with the Mixed Bunch stamp set)
The middle of the flower comprises a stamp from the Mixed Bunch stamp set and a brad from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad pack, I finished it off with a happy birthday sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

That's it from me, got to go get dressed and get on with the day :)  Have a good one and speak to you again soon :)

We popped to Southampton today as I felt I was long overdue an Ikea visit :) and we chose a great day to go because today was the day that the seven cruise ships from P&O would be moored in Southampton Docks for a celebration of 175 years of business, so we got to see four of them while sat eating lunch in Ikea's restaurant.  George diligently counted the lifeboats on the ones we could see to check that they had enough (does it show that we did a lot of research about the Titanic this year lol)  The one below is the Oceana:
and this one is the Oriana (apologies for the picture quality, it was a horrid dull day and taking pictures from a distance on a mobile phone through a window all conspired against us lol)
I still had time to make a card to blog today too ;)  I am making the most of the Everyday Enchantment DSP and can't wait for my order of brads and ribbons to arrive later this week :)
I have left the card sentiment-less for now as I have ordered another sentiment stamp set and will add the sentiment when it arrives.
I used a stamp from the Bright Blossoms stamp set for the vase and used two Framelit dies, both of which can be found in the fab summer mini catalogue.

Right, I am being hassled by Grumpy Louis cat who is making it near impossible to type, so I'll be off now :) Speak to you all soon,

A sport-filled day today, the Grand Prix this afternoon, from Valencia, which was the most exciting race Valencia has ever had, and the football this evening :)  Hoping that England win, but fully prepared that they probably won't :)

Today's card showcases the fabulous Baker's Twine from the Summer Mini catalogue.  This new addition to the Stampin' Up! collection is amazing value for money and so versatile too, it is perfect for a bit of bunting :)
The Petite Pennants Builder Punch is perfect for creating bunting for cards and it is simple to attach it to the Bakers Twine so that it hangs like real bunting :)
Unfortunately the cloud stamp is not available at this time and the sentiment is from the hostess stamp set, Happiest Birthday Wishes, which is also great value for money :)

Please get in contact to place an order or to ask for more information, I look forward to hearing from you.

Well, yesterday I nearly got blown away at the Summer Fair, and spent the whole time making sure things didn't go shooting over the playground lol, but at least it didn't rain, so got to be grateful for little mercies ;)

Today's showcases are not cards, but little sweet containers made from a strip of card folded to fit a little bag of sweeties and decorated with dsp from the gorgeous Sweet Shop Speciality dsp in the Summer Mini.  The edge at the front was cut from one of the new edgelit dies, also from the Summer Mini:
I love the heart dsp (also from Sweet Shop) because it is also embossed, giving an added dimension to the paper and placed with the black card makes it stand out more :)
Unfortunately the sentiments are no longer available :(  But everything else is :)  Please feel free to contact me to place your order or for further information.  I look forward to hearing from you :)

Early post today to give you the link to the new Summer Mini Catalogue that came out today, it is well worth having a look, so many fab new products in there, including two fab new Big Shot dies, Framelits and Edgelits, both of which I am so excited about and have been using them for just about everything at the moment :-)

Here is a little something I made last night that showcases both dies:
I jazzed up a shopping list notepad ready for market on Saturday.  I love the new dies, the framelits are brilliant because they can be layered up easily.  Here is a close up:
I will be using these in my class this month, I will be posting pictures either later on today or tomorrow of the things we will be making.  Please contact me to book your place and if you would like to give me your order from the fab new mini :-D  I look forward to hearing from you.
