A quickie this evening to say that there is lots happening at the moment.  Went to a Stampin' Up! training day on Saturday and have been given a motivational kick up the backside lol.  Keep your eyes peeled for tomorrow, new things happening and all will be revealed in the morning ;-)

Today's card is one that I made for swaps on Saturday at training:

and a close-up of a couple of fab new products from the new catalogue, which is going live tomorrow, squeeeee :-D

So excited about the new things coming tomorrow, lots of gorgeous new things to choose from and if you are anything like me, you will find it hard to choose just one ;-)

Also, I have started a Tumblr blog for photos of things that I make, feel free to pop along and have a look :-)

Have a good evening and speak to you all soon,

Thursday 12 April 2012

An early one today as we are off out to Southampton to check out a couple of the events related to the centenary of the Titanic's fateful voyage.  Should be interesting, one of the things is a lifesize impression of the ship, which I am looking forward to, it will be fascinating to be able to see how big it actually was.

As the picture yesterday was a bit of a disaster, I have pinched jpgs from my Stampin' sister, Anna's, blog, to show you the dsps included in the offer:
Berry Blossoms - 122350

Beyond the Garden - 122342

Nursery Nest - 122347

Pocketful of Posies - 122354

So a fab time to place an order for cardmaking supplies :-)  and the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the last month of the Spring Mini catalogue and the gorgeous things inside.

Before I go, I wanted to show you this lovely card that I made at Sarah-Jane's class last week.  I love the heart with the embossed effect on it, made by the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, which has been reversed for this card.  This card is fresh and summery (and sold at market too last weekend).

Right, I'm off to Southampton, have a good day and I'll be back tomorrow :-)

Quickie today because we are off out as soon as George gets his butt off the xbox and gets dressed :/  As promised, here are the details of the April offer from Stampin' Up!:

From now til 30th April, you  can get one free pack of gorgeous Designer Series Paper when you spend £45 or more on Stampin' Up! products.  There is a limit of one pack per order, and you get to choose from these four fab sets:

122350 - Berry Blossom
122342 - Beyond the Garden
122347 - Nursery Nest
122354 - Pocketful of Posies

I am hoping that the picture of the flyer will work, if not, I will have a rethink of how to show you the papers on offer.

No card today, but there will be one tomorrow :-)  Speak to you then, have a fab day, whatever you're up to!

Tuesday 10 April 2012

Weird one today, the weather couldn't make its mind up and finally we had some hail come down and a crack of thunder (I'm sure I heard it, although with my dodgy ear, it could just have been next door putting something in their bin lol)
Today's card is one that I made last week at Sarah-Jane's class.  On my wish-list is the topnote die, it is so versatile and I love the patchwork effect on it using dsp from the now extinct set from Sale-A-Bration, punched out using the Postage Stamp punch.  Behind the topnote, the card has been stamped with a stamp from the Borderlines stamp set.  Both the stamp set and the punch are in the Spring Mini catalogue, which  is no more from the end of the month :-(

Please message me for more info or to place an order.  This month, Stampin' Up! are offering a free pack of DSP with every order totalling over £45.  Tomorrow I will post more information about this fab offer.

Right, I'm off now, speak to you soon,

Monday 9 April 2012

Raining today, so we're having a duvet day.  So glad its finally decided to rain, its been so long since we've had any.  So I'm snuggled up with the cats watching Easter Monday tv, perfect :o)

One thing that would top the day off would be a lovely cupcake, but for now I guess this birthday card will do:
Apologies for the photo, couldn't get the light right, it was too bright out there yesterday (even though it was overcast).  I used the Cupcake Punch for the cupcake image, which can be found in the Spring Mini Catalogue and the sentiment is from the Create a Cupcake stamp set.

Right, I'm off now to make pizzas for lunch, hope you all have fun with whatever you get up to for the rest of the day and see you soon :o)

Sunday 8 April 2012

Well the past week has been full of dreaded lurgy, hospital appointment, card making class at Sarah-Jane's  and getting ready for market yesterday, and unfortunately the blogging did slide a bit.  Many apologies for that :o(  Still feeling a bit rotten, as it goes, but determined to not let it get me down.  On a plus note, market was quite successful yesterday, made a profit (which is always good) and sold 16 cards, which is absolutely fab :o)  The days are counting down now til the Spring Mini catty is no more, so I will be showcasing the lovely things that can be found in there for sure over the next few weeks.  If you like the look of anything, please contact me before the end of the month, because once they're gone, they are gone and I would hate for you to miss out on them.

One of my favourites from this catalogue is the Postage Stamp punch:
I have used the lovely Spice Cake dsp for some of the squares punched from the Postage Stamp punch and stamped two others using stamps from the Perfect Postage stamp set.  If you want a closer look at what is on offer in the Spring Mini, you can find it up there ^^^ under the Catalogue tab.  Please feel free to message me for more information or to place an order.

I look forward to hearing from you soon :o)
