I have been reacquainting myself with the sewing machine recently.  I cleared my work space finally as it was getting rather cluttered, again, lol  My grandmother had given me a pack of charm squares and they had been sitting for months calling me to make a quilt out of them and so I did at the weekend and here is the result:
I backed the quilt in a gorgeous dark pink fleece fabric, in readiness for the autumn and winter months ahead.
The quilt is available for sale, pop along to my facebook page for further information or feel free to message me :)

Had a lovely day yesterday with my SU mummy and grannie :D and got to play with some fab products from the new catty that's coming out in a couple of weeks time.  I am so excited about it and can't wait til you can all see the yummy things that are in it.

For this card, I used one of the new embossing folders, Woodgrain, which I love already :) and the apples are from a new autumn themed stamp set, Perfectly Preserved.
Here is a close up of the detail, a gorgeous metal button and of course finished with a bit of ribbon threaded through the holes of the button and knotted.
Keep your eyes peeled for the beginning of September, I will post a link to the catty for you all to see the lovely things inside :)

Wow!  What a busy day, early start this morning to get everything ready for market and for George to go off to cadet annual camp.  He had to be at detachment at 10am and I had to be at market by 8.30am.  Luckily his detachment is only a ten minute walk from my stall, so I wasn't to be away for very long.   So, now I am slowly adjusting to the fact that I am boy-less for just over a week!  What to do?  What to do?

Anyway, I haven't had much time for card-making the past few days, so instead of just not blogging again for aaaaggggeeesss, I thought I would show you my creations that I finished off while at market today:
I call them the Owl and the Pussycats, because, well, they are an owl and two pussycats :D  I am grateful to Stampin' Up! for their gorgeous button collections as they came in very useful for the eyes of my lovely creatures.  Here is a close up of my favourite, the owl:
I think he looks very wise and the orange buttons give him the large wide eyed look that an owl has beautifully :)

So, with all my free time, I should be able to fit in a bit of card-making.  I need to get the cards designed for this month's stampin' club, so shall crack on with that in the next few days and get the days and makes posted by the end of the week.

Right, I'm off to watch some more of these fab Olympics, and will check in again soon :)
