Morning all! and what a beautiful morning it is too :-)  The sun is shining and the cats are vying for the biggest space in the living room where the sun hits lol, they are such sun worshippers.  This morning we are off to the swimming pool again, the boys love to go swimming and we are going to try to make it a regular thing for them. Last week they were in the pool for over two hours and in the end we had to get them out.  So we'll see what happens today.  Would love to go off for a little walk afterwards maybe, enjoy the sunshine somewhere.

So, today's make isn't a card, but a gorgeous wallhanging picture (not quite sure what to call it):
I absolutely adore it :-)  I chose the colour scheme myself.  I decided on Concord Crush, Poppy Parade and Pear Pizzazz and love how they work together.  I think I may have to buy some and use them some more.  I also used paper from the dsp Everyday Enchantment (one of the free products in the Sale-A-Bration brochure).  I will take some up close pictures and blog more about it tomorrow :-)

This morning I am off to lovely Sarah-Jane's for a card workshop, although today we won't be making a card, but a picture-type thing for mother's day.  I will post pictures of it tomorrow.  Looking forward to it, I love to learn new ways of using Stampin' Up! products :-)

So to today's card, which sold on Saturday too:

This one was the first to go of the cards I sold, so I will definitely be making some more with this design.  I love the stamp set that I used here, Vintage Vogue, and it goes very well paired with paper from the dsp, Spice Cake.

Please message me if you fancy anything from the main or Spring Mini catalogues.  Links to the online copies can be found up there ^^^ on the catalogue tab.

Umbrellas at the ready!

Morning all :-)  Dark, miserable and rainy day today.  Although I am hoping that it rains for most of the day because we haven't seen rain for ages and the poor plants need it, bless 'em.  Today we are going to Grannie's.  We usually go on a Saturday, but as it was market yesterday, we are going today instead.  Just need to get ourselves dressed and organised and then we'll be off.

Today's card sold at market yesterday, along with 4 other of the smaller cards I made, so I am very pleased that I made some more cards Friday night in preparation for Saturday :-)

I used the Postage Stamp punch and three of the stamps from the Perfect Postage stamp set (which can be found in the Spring Mini), the other stamp is from the S-A-B stamp set, Fresh Vintage.  Again I used Spice Cake dsp in the background.  I am thinking I may have to stock up on this dsp in readiness for when the Spring Mini catalogue ends, I do love it so much :-)

Hope you all have a fab day, whatever the weather :-)  Speak to you all tomorrow.

Market Day

Just a quickie before I head off to market.  Looks grey and horrid out there, fingers crossed its not too cold as the market is in a drafty arcade and its hard not to feel cold when the sun isn't out and shining through the glass roof.

Here is today's card:

I like this stamp, from the S-A-B stamp set, Fresh Vintage and backed the card with more from the dsp, Spice Cake, from the Spring Mini Catalogue.  I used Lucky Limeade ink for the stamp and also inked the edges of the card with it too.

Hope you all have a good day today, whatever you are doing, and I will speak to you soon

Many apologies for lack of bloggage yesterday, time escaped from me somewhat.  We had an early meet at the swimming pool and then popped over to a friends for the afternoon.  Then George had army cadets and I had no energy or inclination for anything workified :-(  Today has been much calmer in comparison and I had opportunity to make some more cards in preparation for Boscombe Vintage Market tomorrow.

Here is one of the cards:

I like the fresh feel of this card, the use of the pink as a border to the First Edition Speciality dsp gives it a lift.  I punched the hearts using the Heart to Heart punch and used a stamp from the S-A-B stamp set, Outlined Occasions for the sentiment.

Righty-ho, I'm off now, speak to you all very soon and if you find yourself at Boscombe Vintage Market tomorrow, pop along to say hello :-)

Afternoon!  Hope you are all having a fab day so far :-)  I've not got much planned today, I have one order that needs making up, so will do that this afternoon.  George is off to a home ed friend's house later and will be sleeping over so I have the evening free to be getting on with things.  I will be ringing up Portsmouth Uni to see if they can help me with funding a Masters degree as I have seen the perfect one that I would like to do, so fingers crossed for that.

Today's card is another smaller one that I made a couple of days ago:

This card was made using the lovely Create a Cupcake stamp set from the Spring Mini catalogue and was stamped on Confetti White card stock and bordered with Basic Black.

Coffee and Cake, one of my favourite combinations

Morning!  Another busy day ahead, going to a friend's for coffee and cake this afternoon and then later on we're off to the football stadium to find out about education choices for the 14-18 year olds.  George is nowhere near that age yet, but its always good to know in advance what options are open to home educated children in our area.  I have also had time to play around with making smaller cards, and am quite enjoying it.

So today's card is smaller, 4" by 4":

I used my new Big Shot die, Beautiful Wings, for the gorgeous butterflies. The sentiment is from the S-A-B stamp set, Outlined Occasions, and I used paper from the dsp, First Edition Speciality.  I also inked the edges of the dsp with Island Indigo to match the colour of the butterflies.

That's nearly it from me today, please feel free to message me if you are interested in joining me as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like more information.  During Sale-A-Bration is a great time to join as new demonstrators are eligible for an extra stamp set of their choice, for free, along with the great value starter kit for £119.
